This is a very very excellent place , but it does seem to be a little stiff on the ingredients toppings unless you add more $$ to get more that's why 4.5 stars. I end up paying a lot for less with Ramen. But for what it's worth it's a solid Izakaya type of place and very excellent menu good appetizer specials . Food is very good and it is always packed. Great unique place and is welcomed in South Bay . There is a Tokyo Central nearby that has Ramen also.

I always enjoy a good ramen to decompress from a long week. The broth was perfect and they always get the temperature right. A table for one is my favorite when it all about the flavors.

When I say this place never disappoints, I mean it! I have been here multiple times and the food is always hot and high quality. The ramen is their main attraction but they also have other side dishes and rice bowls that are great. I love their spam misubi and the gyoza! I usually go in the morning and during the week when there is less crowd. But I've gone on the weekend and the wait time was less than an hour depending on your group size. Their booths which they only have 3 fit easily 8 people(4 adults on each side comfotably). The place is small so if you sit on the middle tables you are a little tight but nothing uncomfortable. They have this cool bar section where you can see the workers working on the ramen. I thought it was a cool touch. The service is great and the workers are always attentive to your needs. Overall amazing place and highly recommended if you are in the area!

Great ramen spot! Takes a little time to sit and eat but probably worth it. Great hakata style ramen. The gyoza is very tiny so 12 count is not as big as you might think. But the fried rice is tasty and sizeable. Been coming here since the 90s and hasnt dropped off at all. Really all the shin sen gumi restaurants are top notch. Very good at capturing the feel of a real japanese restaurant in japan.

Love the taste of real japanese ramen but as Thai, I love to put some chilli powder to make it more spicy. Good combination with a mug of an iced cold beer.
